Elena Branet has 20+ years developing high growth B2B/B2C digital businesses and services with global brands and start-ups. Since joining Vodafone in 2017, she led the Marketing Strategy and Insights team and drove the thought leadership strategy for Vodafone Global Enterprise, as well as the go-to-market plan for the Vodafone Business brand launch. In February 2019, Elena stepped into a new role as global leader for Cloud and Security marketing at Vodafone Business, where she is responsible for the developing the strategy and market differentiation of Vodafone’s new venture with IBM.
Before joining Vodafone, Elena led the emerging technologies evangelism team at Microsoft as Director of Audience Evangelism for Cloud, IoT and Data, where she launched a successful Cloud Innovation accelerator program and drove engagement with developer community. Prior to this, Elena helped numerous content and service providers, including Xbox, BT, Sky, Telefonica, Netflix and Canal+, to leverage new technology platforms and bring new products and services to market across TV, PC, mobile, and games consoles. Other experience includes software solutions consulting at KPMG, investment banking, and technology startups.
Elena enjoys working with professional and community leaders to support people of all ages with learning and critical skills development, and runs a Digital Camp for girls and teens in the UK. Elena is a native Californian from Silicon Valley, has lived in Paris and Switzerland, and is now based in the UK.
